Throwing A Spooktacular Kids Party For Halloween

I didn’t have any plans for Halloween last year. I wasn’t sure I wanted my 3-year-old to be guzzling lollies and I thought it might be a bit scary for her. But we were invited to another 3-year-old friend’s Halloween party and it rocked her little world. The costumes, the party food, the kitschy decorations, the treat bag and of course the door-knocking afterwards (in broad daylight with lots of adults to help).

So this year, we thought we would host our own party for the littlies, using printable invitations and party pack. But how to decorate? There are a number of eBay Stores selling brand new items and a few key search terms under the Parties, Occasions category will find you a host of great party stores on the site.

mcdelos creates cool edible cupcake toppers and decorations

partybuzz1 has a range of great-looking Halloween decorations including latex balloons, jumbo lawn spiders (ewww!) and giant spider webs

cupcake-a-licious68 sells everything you need for spooky baking

partygoods features a collection of hanging decorations and other Halloween party fun

judyn1594 sells a great selection of Halloween props and spooky decorations

empress costumes has a range of Halloween decorations for older kids and adults with some tongue-in-cheek humour

And for some serious bargains, try the Used listings on eBay for Halloween items. You might end up with an entire party’s worth of decoration for a great price.

Even if you’re not hosting your own Halloween shindig, it’s fun to dress up your home entrance to add to the atmosphere and give the trick-or-treating kids something to remember. Fun!
